Can I become a member?
We have recently expanded our membership here at Coastland Federal Credit Union to a Community Charter which includes both Jefferson and Orleans Parishes.
What does that mean? It means you can become a member if you...
- LIVE or
- WORK in Jefferson or Orleans Parish.
Once you are a member both you and the members of your family can enjoy the benefits Coastland FCU has to offer. Your eligible family consists of your immediate family which includes spouses, children, grandchildren, grandparents, parents and siblings.
Once you're a member you're always a member - for life! It doesn't matter if you change jobs or relocate, just remember you are always a member.
Why should I become a member?

How do I become a member?
Joining the Coastland family has never been easier. We have two convenient methods of opening new accounts with us.
Visit a branch near you and be sure to bring with you the following materials:
- Driver's license
- A secondary form of ID
OR simply download and fill out our Membership Application, sign it, and send it in.
